This year as part of the festival we are having a range of activities which provide you with the opportunity to have your work read / work-shopped and discussed as part of the festival program.











These include:

Two spoken word sessions designed to introduce the art of spoken word writing and performing conducted by some of spoken word's hippest and talented individuals, such as Benito di Fonzo and Richard Watts.

Poetry workshops with alicia sometimes and others

Misifit productions (Sydney) are currently accepting submissions of theatre scripts to be read and work-shopped in two separate workshops during nywf.Scripts can be emailed to Rowan McDonald at secrethaste@excite.com - deadline September 18th.

Our sibling festie - Electrofringe - also has many sessions / forums / demos aimed at skill-sharing and playing around with fun new technologies (go see their site for more info).
